How much processor speed is needed to run the latest windows 10? I have been running under windows 10 with no issues for over a year until the massive anniversary upgrade a few weeks ago. Now it has been a living nightmare for me for the last 10 days. I have 6.0 of Ram and 2.53GHZ. It is not enough as I continue to receive Disk 100% full and crash constantly. I cannot even put updates on my laptop. All the functionality I used to enjoy has now been crippled, and still, Microsoft comes in as soon as I open up my PC with more updates, which by the way are automatic and cannot be turned off. This takeover is awful.
Hello all, Just as the title says, my taskbar is not working properly. Nothing is showing up on it, the Windows button does nothing, although I am able to right click the taskbar and Windows button. I have tried restarting Windows Explorer through the task manager, but then I can't right click the taskbar anymore and my desktop is nothing but my personal colour. Here is a list of posts from other websites I have tried: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-steps-fix-windows-10-taskbar-issues/ http://www.thewindowsclub.com/taskbar-not-working-in-windows-10 https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/12321-taskbar-start-button-not-working.html https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_desktop/fix-windows-10-taskbar-not-working-fix-build-10074/6b13e8b6-b30b-4e80-aa7c-a4a3939195ea home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/computing/has-your-windows-10-start-menu-stopped-working-here-are-four-ways-to-fix-it-11364000314532 Any and all help is appreciated, thank you
I have a windows 10 PC that signs me in with my face but I am sending the PC back. How do I remove my account from this PC? I've 8 days to get the PC back. Thanks in advance.
Hi all, I have an MSDN subscriber account. I will be updating a laptop currently running Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Going to test that all the software works the way it should in Windows 10 first so I will be using a MSDN license for testing. If I buy an activation key from MS can I change the MSDN key to a release key or do I need to reinstall Windows? Hope someone can help. Thanks Alex
Hi, I've been attempting to open websites hosted by Google (gmail.com, google.com, youtube.com) using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Pro. Unfortunately, these websites fail to load when using Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, yet work perfectly on Firefox. When visiting websites hosted by Google, Edge simply displays the "Hmm, we can’t reach this page" error message. I have checked my DNS settings, which have been set to the Google DNS settings, and to that of my ISP, without any luck. I have also tried other devices on the same network, which work perfectly, as does Google Chrome when using my Surface Book (the device experiencing the issues with Edge and IE). Disabling TLS 1.2 has somewhat solved the issue, as I can load some Google pages (google.com, gmail.com, youtube.com) however, I am unable to sign in to Google services (the domain https://accounts.google.com/) presents the "Hmm, we can’t reach this page" error message in Edge. Here's some information which may assist with diagnosing the problem: Device: Microsoft Surface Book OS: Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 14986 (version 1607) --- All sites work in Google Chrome, but not in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer --- I have also re-installed Microsoft Edge to resolve the problems, but this did not work. Does anyone know of a fix to resolve these issues?
"We aren't able to show you some of the events in this time range. But they're still there - they're available via your account provider" What does this mean? Account provider?
I'm using Lenovo ideapad 310 which has built-in licensed window 10. Yesterday, it required an update, so I did update my laptop as requested. Normally, I can use ELAN touchpad functions (driver version: 22.214.171.124), like zooming and scrolling up and down without any problem, but everything was GONE after the update. What should I do? I'm really frustrated. Please kindly help! Thank you in advance!
On 2 different months old HP laptops, since the KB3213986 update the computers hang, no mouse access, no keyboard response, following a network access problem, like Windows Media Player streaming from a network attach disk, or, Spotify, Explorer accessing a network resource, Download of update in a program. It seems to be associated with network access time outs. Anyone know of a fix or is this yet another problem with the poor networking support in Windows 10.
