Windows RT 8.1

Hi all, I had a crash the other day, after a long spell without one ( hurray :) ), so I looked at reliability app in windows 10, and noted was that : Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.17. Product Version: 9.0.30729. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0. Im not sure if success or error 0 means no error, I imagine so, but then, 10 hours later I had a ' your pc has encountered an error' moment, and this shows up reliability : --------------------------------------------- Source Windows Summary Shut down unexpectedly Date ‎1/‎21/‎2017 7:29 PM Status Report sent Problem signature Problem Event Name: BlueScreen Code: 19 Parameter 1: 20 Parameter 2: ffff800de7769d40 Parameter 3: ffff800de7769e00 Parameter 4: 50c0401 OS version: 10_0_14393 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 256_1 OS Version: 10.0.14393.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Files that help describe the problem (some files may no longer be available) 012117-10968-01.dmp sysdata.xml WERInternalMetadata.xml Extra information about the problem Bucket ID: BAD_DUMPFILE Here is DMP file ( on onedrive ) from 1/21 which is date these show up as a unexpected shutdown: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvVOuPY0RaB5hN5AtRRQyypzj1o9HQ I"m no expert in reading these things, so anyone have any idea what might have caused this ? ty

Change user name and ID

Windows RT 8.1

We have "inherited" a Windows 8 computer and would like to change the name of the user and password, but don't want to delete the files that are on the computer. Previous answers show how to change, but when deleting the original user name, files associated with the original user seem to be deleted. Can the user name and password be deleted without losing existing files? Thank you.

Windows 10 Networking

Windows RT 8.1

I'm trying to add a laptop running Windows 10 to my home network, which has 3 desktops running Windows XP. When I connect the laptop, I get an error message, "There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network" and I can't get anything to work. Please help. Thank you.

Things i have tried: - restarting my computer numerous times - unpluging ang replugging both keyboard and mouse - changing keyboard and mouse usb ports - replugging usb pins into my motherboard - uninstalling devices from device manager program and restarting windows - turned off sticky keys, filter keys, and everything inside ease of access - tried tapping, holding ctrl, whch doesnt do anything - tapped, and holded both ctrl keys - pressed ctrl+alt+delete which restores functionality for a couple of seconds and goes back to the problem - tried a different keyboard and same problem remains when i open my onscreen keyboard it shows both left and right ctrl pressed.
