I have Windows 10 and the computer freezes on a regular basis for no apparent reason. The only way to recover is by a hard restart. I recently upgraded my computer (new mother board, i7 processor and 16Gb of RAM) in an effort to solve the problem, but the problem persists.
I have a sign in problem - my Microsoft account resets fine and the laptop is connected to the internet. When connected to the internet it is gaining access as the behavior changes when I turn off airplane mode. I can't sign in to the device and don't have the last used password. Is it possible to sign in to my Microsoft account without this local device password? If not is there anything I can do to get into the device?
Hi, My laptop has become very slow, getting stuck, taking lot of time to start and perform even simple operations, should be after one of the windows 10 updates. My laptop is LenovoZ50-70. Initially it had a licensed Windows 8.1, which was later updated to official Windows 10. I don't think even the windows updates are happening well. Now, when I reached out to Lenovo customer care, I was told that the hardware is fine. When they tried to do the system recovery, it didn't happen and I was told that something might have gone wrong at the OS level and I should reinstall it. How should I do it now? From where should I download? How to make my existing license work. Please help me. I need this ASAP. Thanks in advance., Ravi Sankar.
I had previously the updated windows 10 upgrade on my computer, the update changed my windows 10 anniversary edition to have the start menu not having any limits on how many applications that can be inside a group of applications, but after formatting the computer, and updating it to the latest one as well, that update wasn't included right now on my current operating system, right now i only have a limit of 3 icons horizontally on my start menu. like this which in the past i can still put other icons on the right to make it 4x4 or even more but now i can only make 3x4 or 3x5 which 3 is the icons going to the right. can somebody help me with this one ?
My wife is having problems using Microsoft Edge on Pinterest, one of her favorite websites. I, on the other hand, have no problems at all. We've both using Windows 10 Anniversary Update on separate PCs. Often websites will advise you to clear history, cookies, etc., in your browser in order to fix such problems. She's reluctant to, because of having to reenter all usernames, password, etc. I Binged asking if it was possible to clear history, cookies, etc. I got lots of responses all basically like this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10607/microsoft-edge-view-delete-browser-history But I'm wondering if its possible to clear history, cookies, etc. for only one domain? (Pinterest, in this case.)

I had malware removed from my HD Win10 laptop and the process, I'm told, required me to reset the MSFT password. I used another device to change the password and it was accepted. Returned to the laptop and entered the new password but I'm being told it isn't correct. #WTH.. Thanks!

There are lines running across my screen on my Windows 10 YOGA laptop. It's like there is a screen protector I'm looking through. Only about 1/4 inch at the top is not connected. You can see it in the attached if you look at the icon of the person. It starts just below the shoulders. How do I remove that?
Split from this thread. I have the same problem... My computer is trying to install this update since 17 and always fail. I notice that my performace at gamming sometime drops after this problem and I think that's because the update is trying to install it self over and over. No corruption found on scannow and scanhealth
