Can't sign into Account after signing in

Windows 10

Yesterday, after restarting my computer to repair driver error, I signed in. Then a message saying preparing windows. Then I got all the apps on the desk top, but a message kept saying,'We can't sign into your account. This problem can often be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back. If you don't sign out now, any files you create or changes you make will be lost.' I signed out and signed in again, the same message appears. I dismissed the message as I could sign into the account, but found out that the bookmarks from the browsers were gone. I put a few bookmarks back, but after restarting the computer, they were gone. The location of my browsers were interchanged into after restarting the computer to repair driver error. By the way, windows 10 did the update 2 days ago. Could the update cause all the problems? Need help!

Windows 10 Update Issue

Windows 10

The last two updates for Windows 10 have been unsuccessful and it ties up my laptop at home for over an hour each time it does not successfully load. This has been going on for almost 2 weeks now and using the Windows Update Troubleshooter has nothing to fix it. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this? This is getting old real fast. Mike

computer name changed by Windows 10 on a domain connected computer

Windows 10

On a domain connected computer in the office, we recently noticed the computer name was changed. it may have happened after a Windows update, but we're not sure. When we try to change it back to the name is previously had, it says the name is already in use. We have tried logging out of the domain but when we log back in using the domain's credentials, the name still remains the same. the old name was simple and easy to identify, now Windows has given it a name called DESKTOP...followed by a series of random numbers and letters. How can I rename this to the old name? This is the only computer affected in the office. An answer is greatly appreciated.

Windows Update just keeps on checking but never finishes

Windows 10

I have restored an HP Z220 Workstation to its original factory condition using its built in restore function. It restored with Windows 7 Professional SP1. It is not joined to the domain. The very first thing that I want to do is run Windows Updates but it just keeps checking and never finishes. This is not the only computer with this issue. I have other models that also won't update after a factory restore. I've tried the WuReset for Windows 7 and 8 without success. I've tried many other posted recommendations but this issue continues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don

Windows 10 Freezes

Windows 10

Split from this thread. I have similar problem with Inspiron 15-7568. I got this laptop 2 weeks ago and it works in the first week but in 2nd week ( Dec 5th week ), windows 10 seem to be frozen sometime. The frozen problem is resolved but Wi-Fi, Mouse pad and LCD touch sensor did not work. I used Dell manufacture recover tool and return the factory default. It works and All functions works while but the frozen problem come back again. I repeated 3 time for this situation Now it looks OK but LCD sensor dose not work at all. I can use any pen function right now Also Dell SupportAssist dose not work at all. When try to enter SupportAssist agency, it reported "no nternet connection" However as long as I check web browser, I have not seen any problem Please investigate this problem as soon as possible Thank you Hoshin

Windows 10

Hi, I am having HP r206ne notebook core-i7 5500u with 4GB RAM and 2GB NVIDIA Graphics Card. Before refreshing, I got flickering virus that's why I decided to refresh windows. When I refreshed my system. My fan speed is not slowing down and create noisy sound. I also installed HP CoolSense to control fan speed but it is not controlable in HP recommended setting. All the tasks are cleared but my system is using 2.95GHz processor instead. In power option, when I shift to power plan then speed comes to normal but I want performance. Please help me out.
