I have a Samsung NP370R5E model laptop that runs on Windows 10. I have not had any previous problems with sound, it all started today. The sound just sometimes cuts off completely, also while watching a video or listening to music. I'd estimate this happens every 30 mins or so. Restarting the computer does not fix the problem, however restarting the Audiosrv-service for Windows Audio does fix the problem, although only temporarily. It's getting somewhat annoying to keep restarting that service, I'd appreciate any tips. The soundcard info I could find states that it's a Realtek High Definition audio of the model RTKVHD64.
Windows 8 was with the computer, upgraded to 8.1 then Win 10. With windows 10 SD card was not operational at all, usb pkback always fine. Downloaded a driver from MS site for card. Worked fine. Windows ver. 1607 was then installed, worked for a while, then today several months since last upgrade it was obvious there would be trouble, when inserting card normally a beep would sound, today, not. Now all sd cards and usb "pkbacks" inserted show in duplicate in file explorer, they are identical and cannot be deleted or changed without both changing at the same time. The purpose of this exercise was to download a fill in form which is normally no problem. That download although showing up in the USB and SD card shows as 0 bites will not allow "fill-in". Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Upgrading to windows 8 after downgrading to windows 7 without restore(Acer Laptop, came with windows 8 pre-installed)Windows 10
Greetings to the world! Hi Guys, I had a laptop which had windows 8 pre-installed without any key on the outside (Back cover). I wanted to upgrade my windows to windows 10 and saw a cnet post about microsoft still allowing people to upgrade - Accessibility. So I downloaded the upgrade tool and left the pc to install windows 10 after it had downloaded file. This din't go down that well and the boot files I guess got messed through the upgrade. Now my office colleagues installed windows 7 Pro as I needed the laptop for a meeting. Now I have Windows 7 Pro and want to get windows 8/8.1. I do not have the key as it came pre-installed. What can I do so I have my PC like it was? And is the windows 10 upgrade genuine, and can it be done? Thank you for taking time out to read this, Appreciate it! Warm Regards, Imanat
I'm using windows 10 and just started using file history. I'm saving the files to an external hd. I have two questions: first, how can you configure it to save only the most recent version of a file? It is using up memory like it's going out of style! I only need to keep copies of all my files in their current state. Having all those other versions is unnecessary. My second question is this: while researching the above question in your forum I came across an answer that I'm wondering about. In that post it was stated that you should not open up the file history folder. I have done that to make sure all the files were being saved. I even copied one of the to see if it would work - and it did. According to that post that would cause the back up process to stop. Mine still seems to be copying files normally. Thank you Cliff K

I now have two machines that can connect to the Wi-Fi, but no browsers can connect to the Internet. I have tried both cold and warm reboots. I have other machines that are working fine! I highly doubt it's the router. I know the Internet connection is working since the other machines are working. When I do the ipconfig/all I do have an IP address but the Media State shows as 'Media disconnected'. The machine I am more concerned about is an HP Pavilion. I tried Edge, Chrome and FireFox; none can connect to any sites. From a command prompt all pings and tracerts fail. This issue started while I was connected to the Internet. Everything started hour-glassing in the browser, then nothing worked. I have done this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/fix-network-connection-issues Don't see any errors... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
