hi/low sound every 4 seconds when playing any audio file

Windows 10

Every 4 seconds hear a hi/low sound whether thru headphones, usb external speakers or hardwired sound card. Tried isabling each one but sound persists. Tried plugging in an external USB soundcard too. Reinstalled default Realtec audio drivers. Sounds like software not hardware. Do not want to reinstall all windows apps as a 30 hour task. Have a second drive but without OS installed and a USB external of 500GIGS. Best way forward and advice?

Changing hardware on two PC's, new hardware on one, and putting old into another.

Windows 10

So my son has an older PC that is running Win 10 and I am running a newer PC also on Win 10. I intend on upgrading most of my machine (CPU, motherboard, and ram). I want to give him my old hardware, but am curious on how a clean install on both our machines will go based on the significant change in hardware. Assuming that MS wont want to activate based on hardware registered with the free upgrade, how do I go about making these changes?

I try pressing the start button but Nothing happens I just have to leave it and after a period of time, which can be from 1 minute to a couple of hours then the screen to sign in will appear I log in and it all works fine. Any ideas, simple clear instructions please, I am not very computer literate.

Win 10 Update Caused a Problem With My Sound Device

Windows 10

Hello everyone, 4 days ago everything was normal. During my online hours windows forced me to restart my PC to update. After this update, there is a problem with my sound device. I am not getting any sound from anything. On the sound icon there is a red X mark stating that there is no connected speaker or headphone.I tried to plug in external speakers and headphones but there is no sound whatsoever. I can only get a sound which is a low quality from my Blueant Pump bluetooth headphone. When I check the device manager, the HD Audio thing has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it. I have tried so many things but nothing seems to be working. I need HELP! ps: My laptop is Lenovo Y500

activation after upgrading from 32 to 64 bit

Windows 10

I know it is possible to upgrade from Windows 10 Pro x86 to x64 with a fresh install, if the hardware can handle x64. My question is concerning activation. I am already activated as x86 and my hardware can handle x64. I am currently running 3.7 GHz Intel i3-4170T, Intel HD graphics 4400 with 4GB ram. I plan on at least doubling my ram. Will I have to get a new license key to go to x64 or am I good to go ahead with my backup, user migration, and install? EDIT: PC specs
