IP address still respond after WIFI turn off

Windows 10

Something strange or by design. If my wireless network card obtain a IP deliver by DHCP, even if I disconnect or turn off WIFI this IP still respond (from the computer) to a ping. this could be an issu if at home (wireless mode) the client obtain an IP in the same subnet as at the office (wired mode) and moreother if this IP belong to a server. the client will not be able to communicate with the server IP. regards

Windows 10 problems

Windows 10

In early November while running windows 10 my display went black and the keyboard and mouse were disabled. It then restarted several times and came up with a blue screen asking for keyboard layout. I contacted Microsoft support and was provided a media creation tool. I reinstalled Windows and it worked for 5-6 weeks. It crashed again. I spoke with a Microsoft tech who provided the ISO file for me. I used it. The computer came up fine except for fuzzy graphics for a minute then restarted. It came up with perfect graphics but again only worked for a minute. Now it won't boot to Windows at all and I can only use it in safe mode. After being on the phone with Microsoft support for nearly 2 hours they finally told me that my computer isn't compatible with Windows 10.

Networking Problems Windows 10

Windows 10

So I got Windows 10 as soon as it came out and everything was smooth, a few hiccups with a few drivers but i updated those and then everything was fine again.... until now. I use a wireless usb adapter for my networking in my house as i cannot get an Ethernet cable from my router to my computer, a few days ago there was an update for Windows 10, and as I am sure you all know you are pretty much forced to download it (even though it breaks things, *cough* hence why i am posting this). I went through with the update expecting most things to be fine and nothing major to happen, but in fact i was wrong. I booted up my computer as normal, finished the updates, logged in and waited for my adapter to connect to my router. The adapter connected, not a problem, but the error triangle continued to stay. I didn't think much of it and instantly thought i would get the latest drivers for the adapter as the ones before were at least a year old. I proceeded to do just that, uninstalled the old drivers completely, rebooted, installed the new drivers, rebooted and still the problem persisted. I started looking into why the problem could be occurring and so did a network diagnostic test, and as i thought an IP address was not being assigned to my adapter and so i could not use the internet through my router although i was connected to the local network. I attempted to roll back the drivers, that didn't work so i then did a system restore to before the update. It sort of worked, the adapter was given an IP and i had access to the internet, hurrah! But no, just 10 minutes later i lost connection to the internet and for some reason the IP address had been unassigned from my adapter. As an extra measure i did a virus scan through AVG and a malware scan through Malwarebytes, neither of which found anything, i also did a spybot search and destroy scan, again nothing. I am not sure what is going on with the adapter, but it doesn't seem to be being assigned an IP address by my computer, and before you ask or anyone is wondering, all the services required for wireless network connections are set to automatic and were all on at these times. This is a realtek usb adapter i am using, if you want the specific model just ask and i can find out. If anyone can help solve this once and for all it would be nice, thanks.

Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab. Click Edit, and then do one of the following: To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click Other users and groups and, in Enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK. To change the owner to a user or group that is listed, in the Change owner to box, click the new owner. To change the owner of all subcontainers and objects within the tree, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box. Also see Why can't I delete a file or folder?
