Windows 10 1607 Cumulative Update Fails Repeatedly...

Windows 10

I have 3 machines running Windows 10. Two of them are Windows 10 Home and one is Windows 10 Professional. The one running Professional has repeatedly failed to install the 1607 cumulative update. None of the computers I have running 10 were ever part of the Technical Preview or Insider Program. All of them were direct upgrades from Windows 7 & Windows 8. The machine that keeps failing on the update is an HP 6005 Pro Microtower, with an AMD Phenom II X3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 5450 video card. The two machines that were successful are both using Intel processors (one a Pentium dual core, and the other is a Core 2 Quad). I would like to get this machine to update without having to redo anything. I tried both of the available patches, but the update still fails. Could this be related to the AMD processor?? I know that there was an update for Windows 7 at one point that hosed the operating system on AMD based machines. If anyone has any ideas, your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Update problems

Windows 10

Every time I get an automatic update for windows 10 my wife's account is compromised. Her start button will not work and the Edge icon will not work. It doesn't seem to affect Internet Explorer and it doesn't seem to affect my account at all. I tried giving her administrative privileges, I even tried uninstalling her account and reinstalling, but nothing works. The only thing that works is doing a system restore to a point before the update, but then eventually windows 10 will do the update again in a few days and the trouble starts all over again. I need a permanent solution please.

microsoft office

Windows 10

I am 67 yr. old. I have had a computer in my home since 1996. I have a suggestion. Please would you consider a office program for home use that had a easy recipe organizer. Had less business and student paper templets and more useful templets for home use. I did not purchase 395 because I did not feel I would use 70% of it. However, there are a lot of seniors that need a word program, a tax program, and a recipe program. It would be nice if you simplified the task and advertised to seniors. thank you Illona Mager

What items to select when deleteing browsing history

Windows 10

When clicking " Clear Browsing Data" and then click "Choose What To Clear", 6 items are listed, "Browsing history", "Cookies & Saved website data", "Cached data & files" are already checked. "Download history", "Form data", "Passwords" are not selected. Should all 6 items be selected or just the 3 pre selected items? Are there any negatives in selecting all 6 items? Windows 10 As always, any help will be greatly appreciated. Colin
