"old Windows" files

Windows 10

Asked by: Starrider888

I have read the comments about deleting the "old Windows" files in reference to older operating systems. I have just upgraded from 8.1 to 10 on a Nextbook (ASUS) tablet. Is it safe to delete "old Windows" using Disc Cleanup ? This is 16.1 GB of space which is much needed on a tablet.

2. On the Disk Cleanup tab, click Clean up system files.
