Windows 10

In Windows 10, the start menu has a tile for photos. When I select it I can see an album but it says it can't open any pictures. If I use file explorer I see the same pictures and can open them without a problem. What is the difference?

Method 2:

I request you to perform system file checker. Follow the steps below which will help you:

  1. Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).    
  2. In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
    sfc /scannow

The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%System32dllcache.
