RegSvr32 Error: jrnnorgz.dll failed to load

Windows 10

Asked by: Salil Kumar

Hi all, I'm on Windows 8.1 and I ran an antivirus scan with a new software about 30 minutes ago. The scan picked up a folder called 'Eqtion' in Appdata/Local. The folder contained an Exe, jrnnorgz.dll and a few other files. I allowed the program to delete them because it thought they were suspicious.

I restarted my computer and received have received the following error message:

The module "C:Users[username]AppDataLocalEqtionjnnorgz.dll failed to load.

Make sure the binary is stored in the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.

The specified module could not be found.

My computer seems to be running fine at the moment, but I am afraid that this may spell problems in the future. Could someone fill me in on which this message means/ what effect it may have on the computer? If it does affect the operation of Windows, please let me know what steps I can take to fix this error.
