Good evening. I've been having two issues: "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to unexpected system failure"/"Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" and this screen flickering/pixelation. The first ones seem to be something related with Windows 10 (PRO, 64 BITS), since it didn't happen on Windows 8.1 (PRO, 64 BITS). Exactly, except for Radeon Crimson 16.5, all other versions of the drivers (including the one installed from the Windows Update and the latest radeon driver - 16.12.2) in a clean Windows install was crashing during gaming, mainly on Lineage 2 while launching multiple instances of that game (pretty common for that game). This problem seems to be fixed. I disabled Windows 8.1 WHQL on BIOS and activated "Other OS" option and it seems to be working good now on Windows 10 (still testing). However, he screen flickering/pixelation still happens on few apps/games, with any OS and driver version. I simply can't tell if the GPU is faulty or if it's just a software issue (since it was a software issue crashing the games before). Here are some videos of the screen pixelations I'm having (it only happens on few apps/games - usually dont happens during the gameplay, but on the game intro and game menu only): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSPuWYg9fJw (Crysis) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aj10wHo9gU (Plex Media Server) Does anyone have any idea what is going on? When I turn on my computer, it starts to boot up/ load up. But then it will show a blue screen for a brief moment that will say "Your PC ran into a problem. We will reset for you now." It keeps doing it over and over and I can't do anything to stop it.I cant log in, type, or click on anything. Does anyone know what's wrong with my computer?
I have a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit system that the System event log is showing a Event ID 6035 message every 10 seconds. The SID associated with the message is SYSTEM. The suggested action is to reduce Global or local groups, but I don't see how I Can do this for the SYSTEM ID. This is a standalone system not linked to any AD domain or policy servers. Any ideas how to resolve this?
After three calls tonight, and three "disconnections," I am still having a problem with Windows 10. Explorer is not reliable, sometimes devices connect, sometimes they don't. Explorer is also very slow in searching any files. Computers should work out of the box. Drives don't connect, devices don't connect, music won't rip, etc. I consider Apple the devil and anti-American. In spite of that , these problems with Windows 10 have me considering buying a Mac. Please email me with instructions on how to get a fresh Windows 7 64 bit image, so I can get rid of this disastrous Windows 10. I do not have the time nor patience to call customer support again. Check my call logs and all of the disconnections.
So... I think that when I installed windows 10 it uninstalled my built in webcam. I cannot get it to work no matter what I do! I have tried to reinstall everything but it still comes up and says that my webcam cannot be found. At on point I got it to reinstall but when I clicked on youcam it has the youcam screen in the background and everything is backwards. I called HP and they won't help me because my computer isn't in warranty anymore. It doesn't show up on under drivers, it's like it's completely disappeared. I don't know what happened to it! I just want to do my homework! Can anyone help me? I have an HP ENVY :)
in between update 15002.1001 and 15007.1000, running windows pro 4 surface. windows 10 pro insider preview, 1607, in the command prompt as admin, I ran the command "Driverquery" and my results returned link dates that range from 1900's - 2106 -those years. After I updated to 15007.1000, I ran the same command, and know all of the linked dates are relatively all the same , 1/7/2017 ; 5/14/2015 ; 10/31/2016 etc. Is this anything I should be concerned about?
Dear Microsoft Community: I have posted many times and I am an expert in computers going back to IBM. Plus every tool and suggestion that Microsoft Community suggested to try, I have already tried and nothing will work. Not even CMD Administrator and type sfc /scannow and enter. I get Resource Module not working. I reset Resource Module to Manual, and still I can not scan with CMD as an Administrator. I have reset my Eng., and used every possible repair tool available and still nothing works. I do not even get my updates for Windows Defender, so I am using a third party malware software an excellent stand alone tool. My computer has been clean since Windows 95, never having one virus, spyware, malware, keylogger or PUP's. Every scan for my Cumulative Updates since July 2016 I continue to get, Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB3201845) - Error 0x80070776. I have only one question that I have asked before and still have not received any answer. If I go to settings, and start a Reset, saving my files and folders, it is of the utmost importance that when Microsoft tries to reinstall my Windows 10 HOME, Version 1607 Build 14393.477 will all of my installed software, downloads, documents, medical, x-rays. , medical photos, files & folders be saved or lost. Plus will Microsoft use the same license that is now registered for Windows 10 Home Free. This question is of extreme importance, being that I am a volunteer medical doctor for no personal financial compensation world wide since 1967, including four years in Iraq, four years in Afghanistan and two years in Syria. (When I am not out of the country I support third world medical doctors on my encrypted computers). I have Windows 7 Premium, and in July 2016 Microsoft invited me to download Microsoft 10 free. I am sure that I can not install the same Windows 7 Premium Disk, because even thou the IP address is the same, Microsoft I am sure will say that the registry key can not be used over again on the same computer. (This I fail to understand, being I paid about $120 for Windows 7 Premium and I fail to understand why the same Windows 7 can not be used again in the same computer with the same IP address). Not like the CD is going to be installed in another computer, then I would understand. Many thanks in advance. Best regards, Dr. Hubert Hechabarria PS: Please only answer the question, no more suggestion, because I have tried every suggestion, plus all of my own and nothing work. I do not have one Cumulative Update, and most important I need Adobe Flash that is not possible to download as a standalone for Windows 10. Even the Standalone Cumulative Updates will not install.

My Windows 10 desktop PC seems to unexpectedly shutdown when the computer is left idle and/or enters sleep/hibernation mode. In other words, this only happens when I'm away from the computer. Dump file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxx5f5IGQr3jZVZhcTVxT0JCZHc/view?usp=sharing
Hi, My MIL has added her husbands account on her computer, but has unknowingly put it as an administrative account. She wants hers as the primary account, but isn't sure how to switch the two or delete the husbands account and make hers the admin. Is there a way to delete the current admin profile and set hers as this? Or to switch the two so she is the administrator? TIA
