Windows 10

Hi

So I have been trying to update to Windows 10 since it released. I have tried doing it every single way that has been advised on here and still it fails with the C1900101-20017. I think this is and issue with the driver for Broadcom 802.11n wireless network adaptor?? Is there any way around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi ColinO'Keeffe,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

The error code “C1900101-20017”is known to be faulty drivers. If you receive this error, we recommend you unplug all USB devices (other than your mouse and keyboard) as a troubleshooting step and try the upgrade again.

Try to download the drivers the network adapter from the manufacturer website and the try to install the updates and check if it helps.

  1. Open Device Manager

  2. Expand ‘Network Adapter’.

  3. Right-click on the display card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’

Hope it helps.

Thanks.
