My desktop computer decided to restart itself one night and after that I had a black desktop with no icons but the mouse curser is visible, I can right click the mouse to get some options, but no apps will load. If I disconnect the ethernet cable my desktop with some icons comes back but states something to the effect of "your profile did not load, you are temporarily signed in" I was able to connect one time to the internet and attempted to check for updates but also received a message that the server was not available. I do not want to loose everything I have on my hard drive, what can be done besides a clean install once again.
Whenever I try to launch Killer Instinct from the Windows store, I get this error message: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/163764609445134336/270737720970575873/56b52eeafa2e5f01a9b055f8a26570e7.png I've been playing this game for months with no issues until now. The game is definitely installed and my hard drive is not unplugged or damaged. I don't know how to fix this. Help?

Hi, I have been having issues with windows 10 after wire-managing and installing a new SSD. My PC is a custom built from 2013 and have gone through a few upgrades, notably a new graphics card in 2016 November. I have been running into BSOD while running games or even browsing the internet. However, it can be consistently reproduced with a full windows defender scan. After browsing for solution on the internet, I have tried to reinstall drivers for the new video card, running sfc scan and DISM, and resetting windows entirely. So I have just reset the windows install and attempted to run a full scan using the defender and got to another BSOD. I have uploaded the minidump from that BSOD as well as the PC system info in this link. Thank you!
For the past month, when I start my computer I receive this error message on my desktop. I delete it and it does not appear to have any effect on my computer's performance. Does anyone know the significance of this message and how can I remove it? Thank you
services failed to start automatically (especially SQL services) after windows upgraded from 2008 r2 ent to to 2012 std r2Windows 10
Hi, after I upgraded one of my machine( which was running windows server 2008 r2 ent 64bit with 2 instances of SQL server 2014) to Windows server standard 2012 r2 64bits, services are failed to run/start automatically . especially SQL services , I also notices that SQL configuration manager shortcuts are missing under windows server 2012 as well. but I can still access this SQL configuration manager via command line, but MY major issue is SQL services are faild to start automatically on windows start up. (Please note all SQL services are set to Automatic and they all runs ok on windows 2008, only started happen after windows upgraded to 2012) another issue is that, I can't seem to open SQL configuration manager if software protection services is not running - and this service is set to automatic but some time it can start ok, and sometime it stop itself. this machine is upgraded from windows 2003 r2 ent to windows 2018 r2 ent in the past and now I am seeing this behavour after windows upgraded 2012 r2.
I recently used my mothers usb(with all her important work folders and files) to get the windows 10 installer on to that usb. What I missed was the fact it would format/erase the content. And now I cannot locate anything. My question is.. How do i get these files back?? They were on a usb and not located anywhere else since my mother doesn't really trust anything. I used a laptop to get windows 10 installer onto that usb and i did not want it to format. please help i have used recuva and pandora recovery to try to get those files from the usb back

I signed in to a friend's Xbox one with my Microsoft account since the add guest option didn't work. Since this my account hasn't been used on an Xbox before, I guess it just decided that I am my friend's son. I got home and found out that I couldn't access Chrome on my laptop because of parental controls that my friend/father never set up. Since he wants to be my dad even less than I want to be his son, we disconnected the family account. Now after multiple restarts of my laptop, it still tells me to get my parents' permission to access Chrome, even though as far as Microsoft knows, I'm an orphan. All jokes aside, this was a ridiculous scenario that shouldnt have happened because we wanted to play a few hours of splitscreen, and I'd really like to have my access to Chrome back.
Hello, I am experiencing two problems at the moment and I would really appreciate some help. I am unable to access the settings on my device. Secondly and this is the bigger issue, I am unable to reset my device to factory settings (missing partition). I have absolutely no idea on how to restore the partition so I can reset my device and finally be able to access the settings once again. For me this problem is so frustrating and it's hard for me to understand even how it could happen. Huge thanks to anyone who can assist me!
