Hi, I've just bought new Asus R540LJ with SSD inside. I'm trying to install Windows 10 but I get blue screen just after it boots I supose. Nothing happens, just loading and blue screen. Tried with pendrive usb 3/dvd. Win 8.1 and Win 10. Is there anything I can do about it or should I send my laptop back where I bought it?
Hello, I am trying to upload my photos from my iphone 5s to my pc. I need to put them on a flash drive. No matter what computer I use, every time I follow the steps below, it says I only have 77 photos to upload when in my phone and on Icloud I have over 5000 I need to upload. How can I save all 5000 photos to a flash drive? I don't understand why it keeps saying I have only 77. Thank you.
I am receiving an error 9 - subscript out of range. When I test the code, I run it on the same workbook.. Sometimes it'll be successful, sometimes I'd get the error. Why would it work sometimes on the same workbook ? Sub copyData(ByVal fullPath As String) Dim wbName As String wbName = Trim(Right(fullPath, Len(fullPath) - InStrRev(fullPath, ""))) Workbooks(wbName).Activate Columns.EntireColumn.Hidden = False the fullPath is the entire file path of the workbook This is for 2010 Excel using 2010 Access Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have had to reinstall Windows (10 now) after almost 10 years. So I have a huge number of files on different drives with security setting as they were on the original installation. I need to reset these to be able to use them with the new installation. I have tried to take ownership in the usual way (through explorer GUI) but it has been running for over 24 hours and it is still not done. On top of that it keeps coming up with notifications of not having found a particular file or some other prompt. So I have to keep clicking on continue just to keep the process going. This must be a frequent issue for a lot of Administrators on networks or even local machines so I am assuming that there is a shortcut to getting access to an imported drive and all its files. Even if it means giving Full control to Everyone or even Anonymous. I have comes across articles about Takeown and ICACLS commands but I am not sure if they will be any quicker or suitable to continue without above referred promptings. Could some one provide an answer to my problem or refer me to the relevant knowledge base article. Thank you.
Using diskmgmt.msc, I have found 3 nameless recovery disk partitions that were enabled on my notebook by manufacturer when Windows was pre-installed. From below screen can be seen that the partitions are 100% free: I have tried to right-click on each of them and found that some options, which are available for disks C: and D:, are either greyed out or simply not present for nameless partitions: I have found on the Internet the information claiming that such nameless partitions are often reserved for Windows' Bitlocker feature, which I dont have and don't want to have. However my concern is that I can't simply use the partitions for system backup or remove them by combining with existing disk space. I have also read about an adhoc disk utility called AOMEI and would like to clarify if there is any possibility for me to either use or remove the partitions by using whatever tools are available in Windows itself or on the Internet? Thanks.
Voice typing is telling me that the correct word function is unavailable at this time. It worked great this morning, but when I resumed after lunch I got that message. Also, the scratchpad function was on, even though I didn't use it this morning. Did I inadvertently hit a key that changed my settings?
So i have been using my pc for about 2 years and suddenly problems have been popping all over the place first i could'nt open settings (now i can) then i decided to do a sfc scan and it said it found problems and couldn't fix them. Then i read something about a DISM i did checkhealth and scanheath everything was good then i did a restorehealth and it failed at 5% after i did a sfc scan and it said that everything is all good so i thought let me just reset it to fix everthing and it stopped a 8% then it said There was a problem resetting your pc. I'm am trying to setup an email disclaimer for inbound email that has attachments. I want to set it up for any email that has an attachment to it. I have set one up but it is not working properly, the disclaimer shows up even if there are no attachments on the email. The rule I currently have set it up is like this: Apply this rule if..... The recipient is: My internal email address and The sender is located: Outside the organization and Any attachment is greater than or equal to: 0.00 KB Add Condition Do the following: Prepend the disclaimer - added text Currently, the disclaimer gets applied to all my outside incoming email even if there are no attachments included. I only want to apply it to any email that has an attachment. I have tried several combinations to no avail, I'm only applying it to my account until I get a successful test. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Hector
