Hi All, I've just bought myself a new HP laptop running Windows 10. I've found that every time I try to resume a video after my laptop has gone into Sleep Mode, I cannot get it to play without restarting my computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is wasting sooo much of my time. Thanks Meadie :)
My hard drive is dead. I installed a new one. Now I need to reinstall windows 10. I use my old windows XP computer to try and download the windows 10 iso but will not work. It will spend hours down loading and right at the end it will say (Win10_1607_English_x64 (1).iso Your hard disk is full. Please save to another location or make more room on the hard disk.). My computer has plenty of space, so what's the problem?
Hi everyone, Today I woke up and got to my computer, when I found that it was turning on reaaaaally slowly, and I couldn't open any programme because it would take ages to load. I just decided to reboot my computer and the problem was still there. First of all my computer took arround 2 hours to start working at a not insanelly slow velocity, and even then most of the programmes wouldn't load. Every time I try to open anything a error message appears: "-******.exe - Incorrect image- C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/wintypes.dll is not designet to be executed in windows or contains bugs. Try to reinstall the programme or contact the system admin. Error status 0xc0000006." (translated from spanish) After trying to install and uninstall a few programmes with no result, I tried to restore the system from 3 days ago, but the problem still persisted, even in spite yesterday my computer was working perfectly. Other things that I noticed: - There is no volume, only the system sounds are working - On the task manager the disk activity is arround 100% activity most of the time, even despite the programmes only consuming 0,1 MB/s (Arround 6 programmes) - I haven't installed anything for like two weeks, so I guess the problem has appeared because an update System details: - Windows 10 Home - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz - 16,0 GB (RAM) - 64 bits, x64 Thanks for your attention PD: Sorry if I made any language mistake + I'm not an expert about computing so take that on consideration when asking this issue
I have a laptop toshiba P55W C5204 with windows 10 -64 bit and the auto rotation isn't working since windows update started upgrading. The rotation lock is greyed out. I tried changing to portrait mode, switching in tent mode, and nothing works with this. Its disappointing getting the windows updates if this updates will decrease the performance of the equipment.
lenovo ideapad idk500 windows 10 microphone shuts down automatically. You run setup works for a short time like one minute then auto shuts down. I think it is more of a Lenovo driver upgrade problem that caused this but I allowed Lenovo tech take control and he could not correct the problem and suggested to do a reinstall/revert to factory settings. I don't want to lose my music 5+gb or photos. I know it is something simple however I cannot find the fix. Cortana can't hear sound either. Sincerely, m0v0
Hi, Till about 2 months ago, I was receiving notifications on my Windows 10 laptop for SMS's received on my Windows 10 phone. That has stopped now. I have not changed any setting. Has this feature been deprecated? Please help in resolving this issue. Thank you.
Trying to logon the internet using the company connection. I get a pop up asking for my Microsoft Security Login and Password. I have tried disabling User Account Settings, but that does not work. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening and what I can do to resolve it. Can someone please provide several options? I don't recall my MS Security Password or login and have no idea where to find it. Thanks
Recently I had issue with my Laptop, and have restored Windows 10 OS (boot disk) from my backup dated October 2015, where I did System backup after the Windows 10 upgrade. (Windows 10 Home Single Language) Currently the windows update failed repeatedly with Error 0x80070003. I have tried many recommended step to fix with no success, that include 1. Remove/rename the C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution folder - Similar to normal automatic update, it run the update when I restarting the computer, then at the end, it say unable to complete and undoing the update. 2. Utilize Windosw10Upgrade9252.exe - Gave me this error: "Something went wrong, You can contact Microsoft Support for help with this error. Here is the error code 0x8007003" 3. Utilize MediaCreationTool.exe - Upgrade this computer or using iso giving same result with error message: "Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run WIndows 10. Please close Setup and try again." Please help, thank you. Regards, Ahmad
