Windows Server 2016 - Verify WMI

Windows 8.1

Hi, I am trying to verify that WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) comes installed onto Windows Server 2016. I have a customer who is attempting to create a backup repository that is larger than 16TB (18TB to be exact), but is encountering an error that he cannot exceed 16TB for the volume. Is the presence or no-presence of WMI causing this error?

Homegroup/Sharing problems

Windows 8.1

I am running Windows 10 and I evidently set up a homegroup account somewhere along the line, but a family member had not been added. I added my husband tonight. I went back to set-up homegroup/sharing with my husband's name and it tells me I have already set up a homepage account and I had a choice to "join now" or "cancel." I clicked on "join now" and the next screen explains about sharing, and a "next" button, which then brings me to the screen that asks what files want to be shared. I click "next" and it brings me to the screen asking for a "homepage password." What is that password? Is it my Microsoft account # or a different password? I entered my Microsoft account # and the error message came up "windows no longer detects a homegroup on this network. To create a new homegroup, click OK." Do I have a homegroup as it said originally, or don't I and need to set one up? Basically all I want to do is to be able to get into my husband's documents, etc from my computer and he can get into mine from his computer. P.S., I'm really unhappy with the windows 10 and would like to go back to an older version of windows. (My laptop came equipped with Windows 10...am I stuck with it?)

WLAN Autoconfig and Extensible Authentication Protocol errors

Windows 8.1

When I try and start WLAN autoconfig I get error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start. My dependencies include EAP. It however also fails to start in "Services." I get "Error 2: the system cannot find the file specified." I did in command prompt "sfc /scannow". Result: "did not find any integrity violations." I have tried disabling my antivirus and firewall, no avail. My system does recognize my new wifi dongle, but it can't see wireless networks. The ethernet wired connection works fine. I have tried every recommendation I can find on the internet, and I am stuck. Need some help.

USB Generic Hub Settings in Device Manager.

Windows 8.1

USB Generic Hub. I wish to permanently turn off the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' under 'Power management' but it resets to 'Allow' on re-boot (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit). How do I make 'Turn off' permanent? I'm NOT interested in answering WHY. That has nothing to do with my question and is not relevant to the question asked. Neither do I wish information on 'Do you Realize.......etc. Just any known answer to the question not guesses please. Norman
