The latest Windows update has affected all the browsers on my laptop. Chrome crashes Firefox fails to load a site Edge fails to load a site This happens sporadically. It can happen every five minutes or once a day. The only way to fix it is to restart the machine. Just shutting the applications doesn't work. I would be interested to know if this is a known problem, and if it will be fixed in a future update.

I am using Lenovo laptop with specification Lenovo 3000 N100 076885Q. Originally, it had 0.5 GB RAM, 80 GB hard disk, Intel Core Duo (32 bit) with Windows XP SP2 operating system. Later on, I added a 2GB RAM extra. Now I wish to upgrade my laptop with windows 7 SP 1. The installation process requires several restarts. However, after its first restart, the windows 7 screen logo appears and then I get a BSOD error. The corresponding screenshot is given below: How can I complete my windows 7 installation?
So the last couple of days, I received messages from my phone provider saying that I have used large quantities of DATA, and I have been fined and charged £50 for excess data outside of my 2GB plan. It turned out that, when looking in data usage, the SYSTEM has used over 2GB of data, in the past 2 days. Does anyone know what may have been causing this excess use of data from my phone?, and if so, how can I prevent it, as it is still eating up my data? Alex ps. I'm running the latest Insider Release Preview on Lumia 650

Then I did: Restart pc - Shift+F8 - Advanced options - System restore = > win 10 OK After 1 day this update started to install again so I left pc ON over night for more than 11 hrs ! but with the same result (message 100% complet, Please do not turn your com)... Do You have any help what to do ? Thank You Jiri
USB Generic Hub. I wish to permanently turn off the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' under 'Power management' but it resets to 'Allow' on re-boot (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit). How do I make 'Turn off' permanent? I'm NOT interested in answering WHY. That has nothing to do with my question and is not relevant to the question asked. Neither do I wish information on 'Do you Realize.......etc. Just any known answer to the question not guesses please. Norman
I was forced into an upgrade where I did not even have time to read the screen that said something about Windows 10 and Windows 7. It updated on it's own. I purchased this update on line however now Microsoft has made it to where I cannot access my previous apps from Windows 7. Is there a way to restore all of these apps I have on my system or did Microsoft just format my drive and destroy everything I ever had on my hard drives? I hope someone has an answer please?

When I connect to an external monitor (LG 34 inch Ultra via HDMI), my laptop folder fonts (only when attaching a file to email, uploading files etc.) are VERY small. To get them the right size, I have to make the laptop the main monitor and that makes the external monitors font blurry AND pointer etc. unusable big... My settings: extended desktop laptop = 3840x2160 (this is the recommended setting) External = 2560x1080 (recommended) Any ideas on how to fix? here what it looks like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v0gjfc85vxw4dlo/Untitled.png?dl=0 scaling does not fix he problem. it makes all fonts/icons etc. larger yet the file folders and desktop icons stay tiny and illegible.
