i am burning cds from a torrent.  it is an audio book.   there is one file that is 21 seconds too long to fit on the cd.  how can i split some of the file to make it move down to the next cd?  i know there is a way to look at the individual files within each chapter file, but don't know how to do it in windows media player for version 8.   in the past, the media player has always done this automatically.

Hi Maureen,

For your information, you will need a third party application to split the file which are to be moved to the next CD.

Note: Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk.
