Hello, I recently changed my PCs Hardware and reinstalled Windows 10 and all the Software I need. On the previous build (and a secondary Windows 10 build here) I use the same Software-Versions and everything runs fine (or seems to run fine). Since I am using this new PC I am getting unregular BSODs. Sometimes when I am playing a game, sometimes when I am browsing, sometimes when I am doing nothing. I checked my Harddisks with chkdsk, my RAM with memtest86+, my CPU is not overclocked and tested with Prime95. Even though it seems to be a hardware problem, no errors were found. I then used Driver Verifier to check the drivers (using the "Driver Verifier-- tracking down a mis-behaving driver." guide on this site) which did not cause BSODs. So I deactivated verifier again. Today I wanted to run Verifier overnight, but it promptly caused BSODs on every startup. The only change I made was installing trust Zone VPN Client (which is also running on the other windows 10 machines). Which therefor may be the cause for the new(!) Blue Screens. Now I don't know what to do, so I am looking for help. I have three "Small Memory Dumps": OneDrive The older one is one of the "normal" BSODS (not caused by driver verifier), but there were different error codes in different BSODs (sadly I dont have more dumps). The other two Dumps are from this evening, caused by the driver verifier.
So after reading several other posts with similar issues I still have no resolution. I have done numerous methods of trying to turn on this bugger, but the BFE and anything related to the services that are linked with this issue does not seem to work. Downloading the Microsoft tool, can't restore the system, and can't reset the system. The Cortana functions do not work either. What else is there to do besides rewrite code in the registry which I have no clue where to start. Any suggestions?
Hello! My issue would be my microphone which isn't setting up properly (every time I try to set it up it says "unable to set it up") and I try to fix it manually however, the issue doesn't seem to be present there. I tried the Device Manager and that didn't work either. I have looked on every website and it seems there is no solution. My mic needs to work in order to use it for audio recording. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

I've used Notepad++ for quite a while for web authoring and also much prefer it to Windows Notepad for .txt files. When I go to set a default program for .txt files, Windows doesn't see or offer Notepad++ as an option. I always have to "Edit with Notepad++." Is there any way around this? I would love to uninstall Windows Notepad but Windows Notepad isn't listed in App/Programs so can't uninstall it. I did, however, find Notepad .exe (application) in it's location on my C drive. Do I dare delete? Or would it be better to search for Notepad and delete all associated files as well? Would there be any harm to the system. I really don't care for the program much. Thank you for any help
My lock screen setting does not seem to be working, and I would like to have someone help me fix it. I have an Asus Transformer Flipbook which I use in tent mode. Recently, I needed to turn the laptop around so I could briefly use the physical keyboard. But the lock screen did not adjust itself to accommodate the new orientation. I went to "All Settings+Display+Lock rotation of this display," but the option to turn it on/off is grayed out in the Lock position, and I can't see how to activate this setting to change it from locked to unlocked. Any help on this would be appreciated.

When I press the "Advanced settings" button on windows firewall a message pops up that says "How do you want to open this .msc file?" I tried opening services.msc to see if it was a firewall problem but that did the same thing. When the message pops up I found "Launch Windows app" in the list of apps to open it with and when I click that it says "Class not registered" I looked up how to fix it and I couldn't find a solution. any suggestions?
Must have gotten this software added in early January this year. All photos now appear in this viewer. BUT my file explorer will not open. All I get is the picture on my task bar and when I click it, it appears in miniature and will not fill the screen. I believe it is directly related to this app. On the same computer, different user, this does not happen. Help
