I have a new PC and loaded my FSX gold (dvds) onto a separate drive just for FSX. I have dozens of paid for add ons and all that is working fine. BUT, I get a 1-80004005 error code every time I start up FSX. After about 30 mins of game play I get kicked off with a notice saying something about a trail version. I probably have loaded this license of FSX onto four of my past PCs (not longer in use) and suspect that I have run out of licenses. To start with, how to I remove the unused licenses and get my current and only PC set up so I don't get a "trail" version. Greg
I'm trying to get a Virtual machine (VirtualBox (VMBox)) on my computer to do some testing with it and see what it is, and when I start it up it gives me this error code: MT-X I tried to go on the BIOS system thing and tried to locate it and find it. But its not there and half my stuff on there is missing too (Like control air blower that cools down your computer). So, I was wondering. Is there anyway how I can download it so i can enable it and use it?? Also, I'm using a Toshiba windows 8.1 Thanks!
Hello Community, I have looked through all the postings and have found none that address my particular problem. Here goes, I have a light grey blank screen that has been popping up randomly beginning 1/14/17. I can be on Word, or on the web, when bam! the grey screen hits. It alters in its appearance with lots of microscopic black dots, sometimes whiter in appearance, sometimes darker gray, sometimes there are quadrants of lighter and darker grays, sometimes the screen splits in half horizontally with a line running through the grey screen. It vibrates and flashes, sometimes for a nano-second, sometimes longer. It's been getting worse and worse, lasting longer and longer. To be clear, this is not about seeing this screen on startup. The only updates are the ones windows 10 downloads automatically, so I haven't updated to windows 10 from another OS. Windows 10 came with this computer, and I've had it for five months. What I've done is to go to DELL manufacturers website to see if there any drivers that need to be updated, especially graphics drivers as I've read some think this might be the cause of the problem. All my drivers are updated. I see information about going into safe mode, but it applies to windows 7. I suppose I could try safe mode and see what happens. I think I will, what have I got to lose? In the meantime any other suggestions from the community will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Windows 10 Cumulative updates creates laptop to lock up during the restarting process. Must hold power button down to shutdown and rebootWindows 8
Dell Inspiron 15R lap top running Window 8 and uploaded Window 10 few months ago. The Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based System automatically uploads along with other security updates These updates lock out any ability to use the laptop until the system restarts. Thus the problem.... The system never restarts.....The spiral dots indicating to me the system is still completing the update. The first update I was exceptionally patient and allowed 48 hours to continue not know how large the update was....Had to force a shutdown and held down the start button down. Few minutes after pressed the start to boot up. There are times the system will boot up normally and others will lock up with the same spiral dots spinning and spinning and will not boot up.... Have run the "fix problems with windows update" multiple times and doesn't resolve this problem.. Any suggestions to successfully restart after these updates without having to force a manual shutdown...?

Hi, I'm having problems using my computer ever since I joined my family's Microsoft group. Now time constraints are fine and all, but I wouldn't feel the need to complain if I wasn't 21 years old. Worse yet, my parents absolutely refuse to do anything about it. I can't access my work when I need to most. I've tried removing myself from the family group, erasing my laptop as a device from the account, and altering my settings but nothing works. Is there anything that can be done before resorting to a hard reset?
Currently EDGE is not add-in friendly. We are using Nuance PDF plugin with IE 11 for viewing pdf but however this not supported in EDGE browser. I hope EDGE will be supporting this in near future, can I get some timeline as to by when EDGE will be able to support nuance pdf plugins?
Hi. I'm having issues with both Windows Update Troubleshooter and Check For Updates. I've looked around to see if anyone has my exact problem, but couldn't find anyone. So I've made an account here to ask for help. I have Windows 8.1, 64-bit I believe, and the problem first started with the troubleshooter. I usually run it before I do an update, or sometimes when I turn on the laptop out of habit, and it always fixes "Windows Update Components" or whatever. Every single time. It usually takes about a minute to complete, and it always has to stop and start this "Bits" or something thing. This time it was taking forever to stop and start it, and once it completed it said the problem it usually fixes everytime didn't fix. I tried running it a few times and was met with the same answer; not fixed. This has happened before and I fixed it by updating my laptop. Currently I haven't updated my laptop in awhile (but I did once Update and Restart somewhere when the option was there), and the only update available is an "INTEL" system one, which is optional. I don't know what it is, but I haven't downloaded it yet to save space on my laptop. I went to update my laptop but as soon as I clicked it it froze right at preparing to install. I couldn't click "Stop Installation" and it also wouldn't close out when I clicked the X. When I was looking for a solution for 20+ minutes it randomly started downloading at some point, though wasn't going anywhere (remained at 0%). I clicked "stop download" so I could try again, but it took 30+ minutes to respond to that, and it told me the update failed. I tried again only to have it freeze once more at preparing to install, so I shut down my laptop to get out of it even though I know you're not supposed to do that (didn't know what else to do). When I turned it on again and tried going to Check For Updates it froze again right at the screen appearing, so I turned the laptop off again and back on. And now I'm here. My laptop is a little tight on space but I just recently deleted a giant chunk of stuff that was making it go slow to save on a USB instead, so it shouldn't be having this issue because of space, should it? Thank you in advance!
