Hi, is there any update about this ? How do I return to the pre Nov.14th Windows 10 photo editing programme that I found so satisfying? In the new update, most of the best editing functions has totally taken away the individual manual tweaking options! I SO miss the 6 options on the left - Basic, Light, Colour, Effects, etc - the COLOUR option had this fantastic option to change the temperature, plus - COLOR BOOST. How to go back ? :(((( Bernard
I have Xfinity wireless internet on my Dell Alienware X51. The internet works fine on all other machines in the house (2 phones, 2 TVs, A Mac Desktop and a mac laptop) except for mine. When I am using the internet on my PC the internet will drop about every 3-5 minutes. Since it seems to be the biggest problem on MY PC, I wanted to know if it is a problem with my computer itself. I've ran a couple of virus scans (Windows Defender, Malwarebytes.) but nothing seems to be the problem. Also Troubleshooting didn't find any problems either.
I am getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with a message that there is a video error. I upgraded from W7 to W10. I had a LifeCam VX-3000 connected to the computer and it operated fine with W7. I upgraded to 10 and I am getting the BSOD every 30 minutes. I have disconnected LifeCam VX-3000. But still get BSOD. Is there a solution other than a clean install?
I tried to do a factory setting on my dell laptop that has window 7, its been so slow. Im at this point where Im at a black screen that says "setup is starting services." Then anothee message comes up that says "Windows could not finish configuring the system. To attempt to resume configuration, restart the computer." I have but it happens again. I've tried the shift and F10 thing but it doesnt work and Ive tried to do it in safe mode but that doesnt work either. Is there anything else that can fix this?
Hi, I'm new to the community, so please bear with me as I realize that similar questions have been asked already. The reason I'm posting this, is that none of the previously proposed solutions have worked, and I've been trying to fix this since updates began to fail after 12/7/2016. I'll try to provide adequate detail, please let me know if more is needed. I was previously taking part in the Insider Build program, and had completely uninstalled Windows, and redeployed a fresh installed with my purchased Windows 10 Pro key (the insider build essentially changes your licensing to a preview license, while still consuming your purchased license). Based on my update history, it appears that KB3199986 is the last installed update. Since then, KB3201845 failed to install, and then KB3206632 has failed 25 times, and now KB3213986 has failed 7 times. To be clear, this means that my Windows 10 tells me I need to restart, does not provide a "Check for update" button but a "Restart" button, and when restarting does a loop that takes about 5-10 minutes each time: 1. System reboots, reaches 100% installing new updates and immediately 'fails' and begins to undo the update 2. After waiting several minutes, the system reboots, and continues to undo the update 3. Windows finally boots to login prompt and I sign in 4. Windows checks for updates in the background (you cannot turn this off) and begins to warn me that it is necessary to reboot the machine again, and this process begins all over again What I have tried: 1. Clean reboot - turned off all non-Microsoft services, and disabled all startup items 2. Windows update troubleshooter tool - "fixed" problems it found with corruption (did not make any changes apparent to the user, and the behavior persists) 3. Downloaded several tools that were suggested in other tickets and ran them (update hide/show, update troubleshooter, etc) 4. Downloaded and ran new "UpdateRegistry" script fix from Microsoft, which also does nothing to change this behavior There are some typical troubleshooting steps left out here, but I've tried all of the solutions that were suggested in any eminently Google-able result for this problem, to no avail. Given the fact that Windows 10 is one of the most widely used consumer software on the market, I would expect Microsoft to provide a prompt solution for this problem, and see through their decision to implement cumulative updates - even if that means improving the granularity of the Update settings panel to allow disabling the updates, as this problem causes severe usability issues.
Hello I have a windows 10 machine and I have noticed that when I am using the computer to play 60fps videos or even 30fps sometimes the screen will go black for a few seconds, it also happens when I'm playing a simple games like asphalt 8 from the windows store ( I don't know if that helps or not). This black screen gets really annoying especially when I'm playing games and I cant see on the screen. Is their anyway to fix this without reset? P.S. my brother has a windows 10 laptop with the same processor as me Intel N3540 and he has the same 4 gigs of ram as me.

DISM pulls an error :87 or 999. My computer keeps freezing and saying the UI is not responding and Win Explorer crashed . please help . I do not have windows 7 disks or a system restore point.
I just finished making a movie for a retreat tomorrow on Movie Maker 2012 ans when it saves - only audio and black picture - so frustrated - on WIndows 7 - tried to load an older version of Movie maker and now my music won't load HELP
I just got a new HP Sprout which came with 3D Builder installed, but it does not look like any of the pictures from the install. The only thing I can do is load objects, but even when I do this and try to send to my new Dremel 3D printer I get an error. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, but that doesn't fix the problem. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
Hi I'm having a rather in dept issue. When ever I'm in a voice chat with friends they can hear all the systems sounds that would normally come out of a speaker going through the mic to them. This happens if I have my volume loud or really quite so it isn't the sound from the headphones reverberating to the mic I have tried many things to fix this issue and searched many forums, none of which have worked. It doesn't seem like its a headphone or setting fix, as i have tried everything i can listed below. All my Drivers are up to date. Things I have tried: -Editing settings of Realtek HD Audio manager. -Control panel Sound settings preferences, levels, etc all setting with in. -3 different headsets: Turtle beach x12, Razer Kraken pro, Steel Series 9H (the first 2 through the green and pink mic/speaker in/out jacks, the steel series through USB input through the USB sound card V2) Specs for my pc: Intel Core i7 6700k (4.0Ghz) 4Cores/8 Way Multitask Processing With Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 16 GB DDR4 2133Mhz 500GB SSD SATA3 2Tb 7200Rpm SATA3 Nividia GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 with 3X Display Ports, DVI & HDMI Out Integrated 7.1 Channel HD Audio Microsoft Windows 10 64Bit Regards ~Fire
Hi all, I am required to stripe multiple SSD's on server machines (up to 6 1 TB SSD's) running Windows 10. Doing this is taking over an hour via Disk Management where previously doing this exactly the same way on Windows 7 would take about 10-15 seconds. Is there any reason for this and can I speed up the process? Cheers,
