Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 150, Windows 10, touch screen stopped working last week. Have rebooted, checked for update to drivers, have disabled and re-enabled touch screen in Device Manager, tried the calibrate utility (but without touch). Any ideas?
After the upgrade this morning Edge does not launch. The tile, either on the start screen or via the app list, directs me to Downloads. Tried Settings->Apps-> Apps & features-> Search for Microsoft Edge, select-> Advanced Options->Reset...Nothing. Tried to navigate to the web from other apps like News or Mail, but popup saying unable to navigate. I had an issue with chrome not loading properly and 'hanging up', so decided to do a full uninstall, and then download the latest and reinstall. There was one file that was left behind that required 'Administrator' access to remove and that was being done when I had to leave my desktop for about 10 minutes, and when I returned I was greeted with a new window and a screed from Microsoft that said something like 'we have made changes to your computer'. You surely had - all my email's for 2016 /17 have disappeared, all documents that had been retained under Google Chrome and/or PDF are now under Microsoft Edge, and about half my desktop shortcuts are gone. How is it that Microsoft can interfere with a computer just at their whim? Is there any way of recovering to the way things were? And while we are on the job, has anyone found an incinerator that will burn Microsoft Edge once and for all!!!oldfella
I am trying to get my capslock key to work. I am using Windows 8.1. I have tried uninstalling device drivers, performing a hard restart, and checked ease of access. What's strange is it works when I enable the "on screen keyboard". I can turn it on, and it lights up, and works fine. I am unable to manually press the caps lock key though. Does anyone have any advice? It began after leaving my computer on for some time, and I went to log in, and there was MAJOR delay in typing my password in. I finally logged in, and again, major delay when typing in a web URL. After that, I noticed my caps lock key was stuck ON, and restarted the computer. Now it's stuck off. Thank you for your help!
Hi, I am the account administrator of a PC running Windows 10, including I believe, all the latest Windows updates. Users, me and one other. I tried recently, for the first time, to change my Windows 10 Login Password as follows - Start Button, settings, accounts, sign-in options, password, change your account (expecting to be able to change my password by entering my current password, new password, and confirm new password). Result - small, light blue solid screen displayed, whole PC frozen, no fields displayed to enter passwords. Alt Ctrl Del didn't respond. Had to switch off power, and start up PC again. My Microsoft Account Password is the same as my current Windows 10 Login Password. Any suggestions welcome
Good Morning ~ I have a desktop computer running windows 10 and a laptop with windows 10. I would like to be able to share files between the two, and have been reading and reading on the internet to figure it out to no avail. I know I could save to a thumb drive and do it that way. Can I share like my whole C drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pam

When trying to log into Skype, after a long pause (3-4 minutes) it gives me the following error: Skype for Business couldn’t find a Skype for Business Server for csc.com. There might be an issue with the Domain Name System (DNS) configuration for your Domain. See KB2566790 for details and contact your System admin. I tried: Deleting and re-entering my sign-in infoI tried logging in with manual config info (vs the default automatic config using sipdir.online.lync.com:443), but that comes back in a couple seconds saying “The server is temporarily unavailable. If the problem continues, please contact your support team.”I tried completely uninstalling Skype and reinstalling it from our O365 site.I tried logging into Skype from a different laptop, I can get into skype just fine. So my home network isn’t the issue. The only thing different the help desk tried was manually deleting some of the folders in the Skype directory that presumably got recreated again. Still no joy. SIDE NOTE - This version of Skype for Business worked on this laptop for about a year and then just stopped allowing me to log in one day for no apparent reason.
