We have several Windows 8.1 computers. Each of them have the same problem. They all have the same hardware (or as similar as you can get when they are all purchased from the same manufacturer at the same time). The screen is set to blank and lock the computer on idle. When the user comes back and attempts to unlock the computer the screen stays blank. I have updated the graphics drivers from the manufacturer a few times now but it does not get resolved or if it improves it does not stay resolved. The system is still working on files, but the screen never shows anything. The only way to get it to start responding is to power cycle the system. The system has the latest Windows updates. The system has the latest graphics drivers from the manufacturer.
After I've connected my pen drive (or any other media storage devices like sd card, etc.), after opening the folder containing all the data of that device, it surely not have the original data but an ".ink" file with the same name, which i can not use in any way... Just updated my Windows 10 PC and it now hangs on the login screen without the login text or box. The only thing showing are the three icons in the bottom right corner on top of the fields of flowers image. I've tried the power icon by holding the shift key and clicking restart and it reboots, but it comes back to the same state. The dialogue box/screen does not appear so I can't get it into Safe Mode. Any suggestions are appreciated so I can get this back up and running. Thanks!
Hello, I am a Windows 10 user and using this OS since last 6 months. Today morning, when I turn ON my system, it didn’t start normally and showed the Windows update process on the computer screen. After a while, when a system completed the updating process, it started, but the data stored on my computer's drive got vanished. Might be the update deleted all my drive’s file. Please help how can I retrieve those files.
Hello, I purchased a computer with Windows 10 about a week ago. I didn't use my Microsoft account for the login but made one especially for the computer. In the last few days I've begun to have two different problems logging into the system. The first will show the normal login prompts. I will enter my password, the system will think for a minute and them kick me back to the initial screen with the time and date. It won't tell me anything about why this occurred such as I typed in the wrong password. The other problem that sometimes occurs is that the initial screen with the date and time will come up and when I press a key to get the login prompt, there will be no image of me, no name and no box in which to type the password. When I try and type my password without the box nothing happens. The only buttons on the screen are the power button, network connection indicator and the ease of access button, all of which work as normal. Restarting the machine seems to take care of both of these problems in the short term but they usually come back the next time I start the machine. Funnily enough sometimes neither of problems come up at all. Since the only version of Windows 10 I've used is 1607, I don't know if this is some kind of glitch that is happening because of the update. Any help would be appreciated.

How much processor speed is needed to run the latest windows 10? I have been running under windows 10 with no issues for over a year until the massive anniversary upgrade a few weeks ago. Now it has been a living nightmare for me for the last 10 days. I have 6.0 of Ram and 2.53GHZ. It is not enough as I continue to receive Disk 100% full and crash constantly. I cannot even put updates on my laptop. All the functionality I used to enjoy has now been crippled, and still, Microsoft comes in as soon as I open up my PC with more updates, which by the way are automatic and cannot be turned off. This takeover is awful.
