Hi there. I have onenote on my LG4 android. When I send content from my android to onenote, the content ends up in New page-Section-Quick notes on my android. When I move to onenote on my 8.1 desktop, this content is nowhere to be found. Thanks.
I'm not sure if this is the proper place for posting this or not forgive me if not. I've recently had a rash of troubles from this PC,and believe I've rectified this problem I will list a group of symptoms here in case others are experiencing the same troubles. I go to turn my PC off and the power light stays on and the indicator light indicates there is still a program running some sort of process but just keeps hanging until I physically have to push the power button to get the computer to shut down. I get a blue screen notifying me there was a problem with the boot registry now checking system drive for bad sectors or errors will fix any errors when finished with disc check. I go to check for windows updates but the scan hangs or freezes. I log on to the internet attempt to do a search or log on to a site via my book marks and my browser hangs or freezes,I am watching a video on youtube the video stops and looks to be buffering. Last and the worst of all widows can not log on we suggest a system recovery,or would you like to try to boot with a system recovery? Within the past couple of months I've experienced all of the above I even logged a post here trying to figure out what was going on I thought at first that it was related to having two system image files on my PC but this was not the problem. If you experience any of the symptoms I listed here and your computer is an HP of the same make or at least produced in the same year you might think your having trouble with your operating system but it actually a program called HP action center,so if your experiencing any of the freezing or hang ups I listed above look to the right hand side of your task bar if there's a check mark in front of the icon shaped like a white flag run your cursor over it. If when you run your cursor over the icon and it says maintenance in progress well your PC is likely already locked up because of this,to fix the problem go into action center. If your update scan is hanging first go to troubleshooting in action center click fix problems with windows updates a wizard will scan for errors I would go to control panel and be sure its scanning properly and update if needed in my case I had well over 200 updates once I fixed this problem after you update go to the next step in action center. Open action center to the left side of the box click change action center setting at the bottom part of the settings uncheck windows troubleshooting, and automatic maintenance and then click O.K. Then restart your computer. This should fix the problem.
I didn't have any problems installing this, and sound and battery all seem to work, which look to be the common complaints. My problem is that I can't sign back into my Microsoft account. When I restart t laptop and try to log in, it says "preparing windows" then says it can't sign me in and sets me up with a temporary profile that's really only good for browsing the internet, since I can't access any of my files, nothing will save and all my settings are gone.
I tried to help a friend download an APP on his Lumia 650. But keep getting an error messages "Oops something went wrong, there is a problem with this Microsoft account. To fix this log into accounts.live.microsoft.com from a web browser. Done that but cannot see what to do to fix this problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've already started up a new email address but even that one does the same thing
I ran an AVG hard-drive health-checker which didn't work and completely messed up my laptop, and it now blue screens at start-up as a boot file has corrupted. (It won't start in safe mode, and repair does nothing.) I can't use a boot disk for 8.1 because my laptop came installed with 8 and the product key embedded in the UEFI firmware won't work with the later version. I can't lose this laptop - it contains too much important material, including thousands of photos of my children since their birth which, foolishly, I never backed up anywhere. How do I get a reboot disk for 8 and not 8.1, or how do I find the product key for the 8.1 upgrade I installed after I bought the laptop? Thanks.
So I've updated my windows yesterday and whenever I do something that's full screen (watch videos, play games) it's always visible. I have checked it to auto-hide but I'd like to have it always visible when I'm on the desktop or browsing.
