I am having great problems updating my system on an Acer Aspire M3870 running x64 bit operating system. I have tried reading all the posts to no avail. I receive a number of error messages - currently 0x80073712. I previously tried to install KB3206632 - without success. It has disabled my Office 2010, which in an effort to sort out the problem, I have uninstalled and am now without Office! I have tried running the windows update troubleshooter, downloading the updates for a local install - but every time, it freezes, wont reboot and I can't seem to get anywhere! Any help gratefully received! Thanks Michael
Regarding dll eror ( There was a problem starting LookupGenitalic.dll the specific module could not be found ).Windows Vista
I am running Windows 10 Pro N with the media pack installed. I have recently loaded a game and the sound is not working. The game is Command Modern Air and Naval Operations, and it is made by Matrix Games. I have located the sound files through 'This Computer' and tested them. They all work. Unfortunately though, they don't work in the game. The Matrix forums are down right now, which is why I am asking on this site. Can anyone help?
problem: Left/right Click on empty desktop = edge opens up. (sometimes 20x) left click on an icon edge opens up. (sometimes multiple times in background processes) same as above for right click-open icons. opening folder explorer also opens edge (as above) opening programs and features - same as above open iTunes, edge opens or itunes help the web sites that do open on Edge, or the help windows, they are not fake, they are official/with no redirects. if i close the Edge for instance when the progam i wanted has opened, say, iTunes, if i click anywhere on iTunes window, the Edge pops up again. if i try to close the tabs on the edge individually they dont they add a new tab. if i had IE as my default browser or FFox the same results will occur (tried it) Things ive tried to fix it: full AV/mal scan, with three seperate progs. GData total prot/Malwarebytes/win defender (these prog's didnt run at same time. mal and def installed after to find problem, all prog's were fully updated to latest scan build) results. Zero from all differant progams. admin cmd prompt: sfc /sannow . result Zero. i have had occasions where as many as 300 edge tabs or windows would start if i didnt close the process in task mgr. this is on a pretty new install with no dodgy programs installed. I am at a complete loss. I even let a GData AV engineer remote check a few things. but im pretty security savvy so i dont make silly mistakes that would get me a problem. please help! my desky is pretty much unusable. any help would be appreaciated. Kindest Regards, Marcus
Starting out with the default cursor (arrow) after several minutes of use the shape changes by itself to a grid -attempts to revert back to the default using the Control Panel fail. The only way to get back to the shape I want is to restart. Using Windows 10 and a Dynex wired (usb) mouse. Drivers are up to date.
There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3206632) - Error 0x80070776 • Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3176936) - Error 0x80070776 I have already tried the windows update troubleshooter, but I still get these errors when trying to update windows. How do I fix this?
Hi Guys, Not sure if this should be under the OneDrive Catagory or Windows 10. I'm trying to work out if it is possible to synchronize the user folder (C:Users) automatically to one drive. I have plenty of storage on my one drive account for the user area. I know that you can set the pre-installed one drive software to save documents and pictures directly to one drive. I don't want this as I want to treat one drive as a back up so that my user files are saved to my hard drive then synchronized/backed up automatically to one drive. Is this possible? Cheers :)
I previously made a post about an error code that came up when trying to install apps. The issue was resolved and has now returned once again. I have tried using WSRESET as administrator, it just stays in that black window and does nothing. Am using your windows apps troubleshooter to clear windows store cache, that just says "resolving problems" but has been sitting like that for 20 minutes. So overall, Wsreset.exe doesnt work and my windows store cache may be damaged according to a troubleshooter. Thanks in advance.
