Issues regarding the task bar after Win 10 upgradeWindows Vista
I upgraded to win 10 a couple of days back and ever since I am experiencing issues with the task bar. The task bar stops responding to any clicks on it. This problem is mainly with the start menu, cortana, task view, edge, store and the icons on the right most corner of the task bar. In addition to it, I am also facing certain issues with the touch pad as it stops responding to touches for 2-3 seconds only but frequently.
I am using a Dell Latitude E 6320 which had win 7 installed earlier.
I understand the inconvenience caused, I will be glad to assist you with this.
An outdated or incompatible touchpad driver could be causing the issue. If you recently upgraded to Windows 10, it's possible that the current driver was designed for a previous version of Windows. Check to see if an updated driver is available.
1. Press Windows key + X and select device manager.
2. Locate the touchpad driver and choose the option to update the driver.
If that doesn't help, uninstall the driver and restart the computer and have Windows automatically install the driver upon restart.
