Previously Secure Sites are now "Not Secured" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Windows XP

I just started having this problems as well. With my email, some financial accounts, etc.,. I did find this article about changes by Chrome in 2017. Additionally I read something about my LAN and Wifi Router needing to be reset. I am not a WHIZ KID and don't quite follow how to insure SSL _________________________ What does it all mean. What am I to do? Should I reload Chrome? https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/10/avoid-not-secure-warn As announced in September, Chrome will soon mark non-secure pages containing password and credit card input fields as Not Secure in the URL bar. This document is intended to aid Web Developers in updating their sites to avoid this warning. Enable warnings Warnings will be enabled by default for everyone in Chrome 56, slated for release in January 2017. To test the upcoming user experience before that time, install the latest Google Chrome Canary build. To configure Chrome to show the warning as it will appear in January 2017, open chrome://flags/#mark-non-secure-as and set the Mark non-secure origins as non-secure option to Display a verbose state when password or credit card fields are detected on an HTTP page. Then relaunch your browser. You can see an example of the browser’s warning behavior on this page. When the Not Secure state is shown, the DevTools console shows the message This page includes a password or credit card input in a non-secure context. A warning has been added to the URL bar.

Windows 10 and Photos Inclusion

Windows XP

Noticed the discussion about including photos in Windows 10 emails. I have an old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements (Version 2.0, as I recall) on my Windows 10 computer (Photoshop Elements was there when it was a Windows 7 computer and I upgraded to Windows 10) and was having no real problems of including photos in emails, except that when I included a photo or series of photos and got ready to send the emails, the photos would call up my Adobe Photoshop Elements as it was sending the email. I got annoyed at Adobe Photoshop Elements starting up each time I sent an email with a photo in it, so I asked Cortana about and found the Discussion on Windows 8's inability to include photos in my emails. Adobe Photoshop Elements only slowed down the email transmission by having to open up and process the photos, but it worked. So for now, until Microsoft fixes the problem, I will just reactivate Adobe Photoshop Elements and let it do its job and get my emails on the way. Hope this contributes to the discussion of including photos in emails ,
