Trying to access my Windows 10 PC over network

Windows XP

Hi all, I have a windows 10 PC thats on my network. I want to try and connect to it, and when I do it asks for a username and password, I have 1 account on that PC that uses my email account. and I know the password for it. When I enter in the information it wont allow me to connect to the PC. When I go to sign onto my computer physically I have it setup to where I just type in a pin. And i've tried that too when trying to access it remotely, Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Im not in a domain, workgroup or homegroup. I tried the following: Username:email Password:email password Username:email Password:pin Username:computernameemail Password:email password Username:computernameemail Password:pin I went into my C: and into users and it gave me a different name that was similar but still different than my email so I tried that name Username:user in c: Password:email password Username:user in c: Password:pin Username:computernameuser in c: Password:email password Username:computernameuser in c: Password:pin

Can't run programs installed from a dvd or cd

Windows XP

Hi, I got a dvd burner recently and had installed it when I decided to test it out. To start, I tried a few video games; Lego Star Wars and Command And Conquer Red Alert 2. I went through the installation process but afterwards, the programs wouldn't run. I tried a movie after this, Dodgeball, which worked fine. I uninstalled and retried the installation of Lego Star Wars a few more times, but nothing changed. My dvd drive is Lite-On IHAS124-14 with up-to-date drivers, on a windows 10 pc

windows locks up when monitor's are disconnected

Windows XP

I have 2 monitors hooked up to my PC a HDMI display and a VGA display. usually when i power off the HDMI display all my windows go to the VGA monitor. but for some reason now every time i power off my HDMI display one of two things happen. 1. windows just locks up and have to perform a hard reset. 2. my CPU usage, RAM usage and drive usage hits 100% as in everything is maxed out and windows becomes unstable and again i have to perform a hard reset. I am running windows 10 Home edition x64 and in case you need it here are the specs of my PC. Gigabyte B85M-HD3 Motherboard Intel core I5 Intel integrated graphics 320 GB HDD
